There's something in the water at wrestling venues affecting knees these days. Or it could be a giant coincidence -- the latter is likely.
Former WWE, ROH and NJPW star Matt Sydal revealed on social media Thursday that he'll be undergoing surgery and will be out of action for several months. In the mean time, Sydal will be conducting online wrestling lessons and teaching at the WWN Live center.
I’m having surgery next Thursday to repair torn cartilage in my knee. I should be able to return to the ring by March or April. I’ll be teaching wrestling online, and at the @WWNLive training center throughout. Reach out to [email protected] with questions. ----

Sydal has met success in every major promotion he's appeared in, and has most recently been wrestling for Impact, where he was able to win several championships. He's been on the sidelines for a month, last wrestling on December 16 at a CWA event.
