Matt Taven says his Honor No More stablemate PCO is somewhat banged up.
During a Golden Ring Collectibles virtual signing, PCO came up in the conversation, and while discussing the former ROH World Champion's obscure world records, Taven stated that he's dealing with some broken ribs.
“Obscure ones, like who could hold a battery with two fingers or something crazy. [The one about hammering nails into a board with his hand], that one was, I was like, ‘PCO, let me see your hand,’ and he had marks on his hand from doing it. That was a little much. He’s got tetanus, he’s got a couple broken ribs right now, legit. So PCO, show some love for PCO," Taven said.
He continued, noting that PCO takes some crazy bumps that can be hard to watch.
"He makes me cringe , he’s on my team and I watch it as close as possible and I’m like he can’t get back up from that. Then he does and I almost hope that he doesn’t," Taven said.
Taven also stated that PCO suffered the injury when Doc Gallows sent him crashing through a table, but he still wrestled in his match against Heath at the IMPACT Wrestling television tapings in Dallas anyway.
"[Gallows] threw him off the hockey [structure] through a table. That’s what broke his ribs. He wrestled, you’ll see him versus Heath next week, and he’s got broken ribs in that match," he said.
Per POST Wrestling, a representative of PCO, Bertrand Hébert, shared the following statement about the matter:
"Wrestlers are never 100% but PCO is not working through anything out of the ordinary for him. As they say he’s not human."
Taven and Mike Bennett recently won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship. More information is available here.
