Matt Taven Undergoes Successful Ankle Surgery

The injury angle at ROH Final Battle where Vinny Marseglia smashed the ankle of Matt Taven was done for good reason. On Thursday, Taven underwent successful ankle surgery. 

He confirmed the news of his surgery on social media. Vinny Marseglia took credit for the injury stemming from his attack on Taven at ROH Final Battle. Marseglia defeated Taven in singles competition at the event. After the match, Bateman attacked Taven, leading to Marseglia placing a wood block between Taven's ankles. Vincent then smashed a chair into Taven's ankle to create the injury.
