Maven answers why wrestlers wear underwear.
Former Tough Enough winner Maven had a noteworthy WWE career, as he won the Hardcore Championship and eliminated The Undertaker from the Royal Rumble match. Years later, he continues to generate buzz with his successful YouTube channel.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Maven answered the web's most-searched questions. In one highlight, he commented on why wrestlers wear underwear and revealed that he used to wear a thong.
“If you need to ask that question, I got nothing for you [laughs]. There’s a sense of security that you need when we’re jumping around, flying through the air. The last thing you want is rattling around of the undercarriage. I would always wear a thong. Why would I wear a thong? Because I wanted as little amount of material underneath my trunks. Because my trunks were not big at the time. Everybody’s still gonna wear something underneath that uniform, that outfit, just for security," Maven said.
