Maxxine Dupri: Alpha Academy Has To Go Back To The Drawing Board, My Boys Will Win Gold

Alpha Academy remains determined to win gold.

Alpha Academy competed on the March 26 episode of WWE NXT, as Otis and Akira Tozawa faced NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. With a win, they would have punched their ticket to NXT Stand & Deliver, as they would have earned a spot in the tag team title match. However, Breakker and Corbin emerged victorious.

In an NXT Exclusive, Alpha Academy commented on their loss. Maxxine Dupri noted that they had to meet with Chad Gable and figure out a plan.

"It’s bittersweet to be back. It’s always nice, but things didn’t end the way that we wanted them to. But at the end of the day, my boys put on a hell of a match. From here, we have to go back and meet with Coach Gable. We gotta go back to the drawing board, we gotta figure out a game plan because all I know is that my boys will have gold around their waists," Dupri said.

Otis expressed his agreement and flexed his hips, but he was in pain after he got slammed through the announce table during the match.
