Mercedes Mone To Face Stephanie Vaquer In Title For Title Match At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

A new bout has been signed for Forbidden Door.

On the June 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will face NJPW STRONG Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a title for title match at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. This match comes after Vaquer appeared on the May 29 edition of the show and to stare down Mone.

Spoiler: Injured Talent Returns At AEW Collision Taping

This will be the second time that Mone and Vaquer have wrestled each other in singles action. The two stars first faced in a NJPW STRONG Women's Championship Tournament bout at NJPW STRONG Resurgence in May 2023.
