Mercedes Mone praises Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale.
Many fans believe that Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale was the best match at AEW All Out 2024, even overshadowing other matches from the show like Swerve Strickland vs. Adam Page and Will Ospreay vs. PAC.
Despite the fact that the match was only fifteen minutes, Nightingale and Statlander were still able to pull off some of the best spots on the show. At one point in the match, Nightingale dodged a strike and made Statlander inadvertently hit the splits on a pile of thumbtacks.
In the latest edition of the Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone followed up her comments on the level of violence at All Out by stating that the match stole the show. Mone even went as far as to call it one of the best women's matches of the year.
"Okay, here I am talking out of both sides of my mouth. After sharing some strong thoughts on extreme wrestling, I'll state, hands down, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale's street fight absolutely stole the show. It was one of the best women’s matches of the year, and one of the greatest women's street matches I have ever seen-ever! I mean it. I couldn't take my eyes off the monitor. Kris and Willow hooked me from go. Our women's division just keeps ascending."
