Mercedes Mone Responds To Giulia Saying She Wants To Face Her In A Double Title Match

Mercedes Mone teases her interest in a match with Giulia.

Mone (formerly known as Sasha Banks) left WWE at the end of 2022 and made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4. She then defeated KAIRI to win the IWGP Women's Championship at NJPW Battle in the Valley on February 18. Mone recently retained the title against Hazuki and AZM in a three-way match at NJPW Sakura Genesis.

World of STARDOM Champion Giulia is set to defend her title against Tam Nakano at STARDOM's All Star Grand Queendom event on April 23. There, Mone will put her IWGP Women's Championship on the line against Mayu Iwatani.

Giulia spoke to the media ahead of the show, and Tokyo Sports published an article in which she noted that she wants to face Mone in a double title match.

Mone then responded in a tweet and stated that, "Double the titles = double the Mone." She also told Giulia that Japan is her country now. Mone went on to oke that she couldn't find Giulia on Twitter, so she must not be famous.
