Mia Yim has been released by WWE.
Fightful reports that Mia Yim was released by WWE on November 4. Yim had not wrestled since the December 31, 2021 episode of WWE Main Event where she lost to Nikki Cross. She portrayed RECKONING as part of the RETRIBUTION stable.
She was reportedly set to return to television on the May 7 episode of WWE SmackDown to start a feud with Carmella, but the segment was pulled for time. She was drafted to WWE Raw in the 2021 WWE Draft, but never returned to TV.
Yim competed in both the Mae Young Classic tournaments. She was signed by WWE in September 2018 and made her NXT debut on the October 24 episode of the show where she defeated Aliyah.
She is the reigning UpUpDownDown Champion.
Yim confirmed she has a 90-day non-compete clause.
