Michael Cole looks back on a moment between himself and CM Punk back in 2011.
At WrestleMania 27, Michael Cole would have a rare match at the event, facing off with Jerry Lawler with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the referee for the bout. Cole would end up winning in a reversed decision by the anonymous RAW General Manager.
While speaking to Logan Paul on a recent episode of Impaulsive, Cole reflected on the time CM Punk accidentally knocked out his tooth before WrestleMania 27.
"I had a little run when I was a heel where I actually got in the ring. Terrible, but I took bumps. I got my tooth knocked out. CM Punk, during the day, as I was going over the match with Jerry, he just decided to run across the ring and give me a knee lift. Dummy me didn’t move out of the way, and he knocked my tooth out. During the match, Jerry hit me with a dropkick and knocked my other tooth out."
Cole is now a member of the Monday Night RAW announce team alongside Pat McAfee.
Elsewhere during the interview, Cole commented on Vince McMahon being in his ear. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
