Michael Cole Says He Signed A 'Long-Term' Deal With WWE, Confirms He'll Be Calling WWE Raw On Netflix

In August, Bryan Curtis of The Ringer revealed in a feature that Michael Cole had signed a new deal with WWE that would keep him in the company "for the foreseeable future."

Speaking to Sal Licata of WFAN, Cole gave a little more insight into the deal and confirmed that he will be returning to WWE Raw when the show moves to Netflix in January.

"I still feel like I have a lot left in me. I just signed a long-term deal with the company, I'll be doing this for a few more years. I'll be back on Netflix doing Monday Night Raw in January," he said.

Cole is currently the lead play-by-play announcer on WWE SmackDown. Joe Tessitore is the play-by-play announcer on WWE Raw.

In the interview, which was recorded on October 12, Cole said that he was leaving for a ten-day family vacation in Mexico. Cole missed the October 18th episode of WWE SmackDown, just his fourth missed show since joining the company in 1997, with Graves saying that Cole was on "special assignment."
