Michael Cole talks how strict Netflix are about what happens on WWE television.
Since WWE moved to Netflix on January 6th of this year for Monday Night RAW, the show has had less restrictions on time, with the show ending after around two hours and thirty minutes on several occasions. Prior to WWE's debut on the streaming platform, many expected WWE to have less restrictions on their content now RAW was no longer on television.
While speaking on a recent episode of Impaulsive with Logan Paul, Michael Cole addressed these thoughts, noting that Netflix are actually very strict when it comes to WWE content.
"In this day and age, you have to be very careful with what you say. Even with Netflix, we thought we would be able to get away with a few other things, but Netflix is very strict with that, too. Guys like us, who are talking like, especially working with Pat, who has no buffer. You have to be really careful with what you say."
WWE also broadcast their other shows and PLE's through Netflix in many international markets.
Elsewhere in the same podcast appearance, Cole said he would not disparage Vince McMahon from a professional standpoint. You can read more about that here.
