Speaking about the experience on the latest episode of his podcast, Foley is Pod, Mick Foley says that had he known the episodes wouldn't all be about death, he would have continued to narrate on the program and he wishes he had.

"If I had known how good it was going to be? No way would I have let Chris Jericho take that job away from me. Actually, Dutch [Mantell] had it. I think the first season he did," Mick Foley said before explaining why he enjoyed the Bruiser Brody episode.

Moving on, Mick Foley explained his decision to not continue to narrate the show. Mick Foley also revealed that he's been contacted and potentially be included in upcoming episodes of Dark Side of the Ring.

"I just thought, man, there's going to be a lot of depth on this show. I didn't realize you were going to have some episodes that weren't just that weren't dark by nature, like The Brawl for All, the trip to North Korea, and things like that. It's gone on to be such a great show. I look back and think, 'Man. Not only was it a lot of money for a fairly easy job, but it would have been a really great show. So I've really been happy with my appearances on Dark Side of the Ring, where I talk about Tommy Billington or Luna and they've asked me about my availability for a couple in the upcoming season."

After Foley announced that revelation, Conrad Thompson joked that Mick Foley would just be talking about all of the shows he's not supposed to talk about on his podcast. Mick Foley had previously revealed that he is going to be a host on the upcoming season of WWE Most Wanted Treasures on A&E.

The team behind Dark Side of the Ring is currently working on another television series for VICE, Tales from the Territories. Despite the new show, they have openly stated they remained committed to Dark Side. Read more here.
