Mick Foley is happy for his old wrestling opponent Kane.
On Thursday, the voters of Knox County, Tennessee went to the polls and elected Glenn Jacobs who is better known as Kane in WWE. TMZ interviewed one of Kane's long time co-workers in Mick Foley who worked with Kane throughout the Attitude Era and beyond. Foley was happy to see Kane succeed in the election.
"I'm really happy for him. I think he'll do a great job. I think he's taking a pretty big pay cut unless he can continue his WWE activity. But he's always been interested in public service, always had a thick non-fiction book in his hand on every flight and in the dressing room. He's a very wise man and caring person," said Foley. .
As far as the "WWE activity" Foley mentioned, Kane did say he's open to make special appearances for WWE when he's able to get away from his Mayoral duties. Foley also said that he sent Kane a congratulatory message and he's glad to see him move onto this part of his life.
