'Speedball' Mike Bailey belongs in AEW.
Bailey shocked fans around the world on the March 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, debuting for the company in a match against The Beast Mortos.
Now, on the March 19 edition of the show, Bailey will look to punch his ticket to AEW Dynasty, as he'll face Ricochet, Mark Davis, and Orange Cassidy for the right to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship.
While chatting with Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report for a new interview, Bailey talked about signing with AEW, saying that it was time for him to step up to the big leagues.
"I think my biggest accomplishment in pro wrestling, and in life to be honest, is making every single year better than the last. It was time for me to step up and make it to the big leagues, and AEW is where the best wrestle, and in my opinion, it's where I belong."
After chatting about his previous desires to wrestle in as many places as possible, Bailey continued on and said that AEW is his main focus at the moment.
"Obviously, right now, AEW is my focus. It's where I want to be, it's where I want to wrestle, but wrestling for New Japan and CMLL and going to those places to represent AEW would be a huge honor."
