Mike Tyson: I'd Rather Go To WWE, Even If AEW Paid More Money

Mike Tyson is ready for his WWE return.

Mike Tyson famously appeared on WWE television as part of the build for WrestleMania 14 and the main event match between Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Tyson was the man who counted the pinfall for Austin to begin the Stone Cold Era.

Speaking on his Hot Boxin' podcast, Tyson and his guest The Undertaker rewatched the WrestleMania 14 moment.

"They gave me so much money. I was in debt, too. I got a couple million dollars, I was so proud. Vince (McMahon) became my main man," said Tyson.

Over the years, Tyson has done more wrestling appearances, including multiple showings on AEW televison. When co-host Sebastian Joseph-Day from the Los Angeles Chargers asked how he could get involved in wrestling, Tyson jumped in to say, "Tony Khan and those guys, these guys wanted to put me on the show and stuff before. I don't care if they got more money. Vince put on the show, I'd rather go there, even though [AEW] pay more money."

Undertaker commented, "I don't blame you there. It's going to get much more play. WWE is going to do it right."

Tyson did not say how much he was paid for his AEW appearances.

Undertaker is currently retired, but remains active in the WWE universe by doing his one man show.
