Minnesota SE President Says City Is Not Hosting WrestleMania 41 'Due To A Change In Direction By New Ownership'

WrestleMania is not headed to Minnesota.

On Saturday, WWE announced that WrestleMania 41 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will take place on April 19 and April 20, 2025.

The Minnesota Tribune confirmed that Minnesota was a finalist for the event and bid for the show to be held at U.S. Bank Stadium.

"We were informed by WWE that Minnesota would not host WrestleMania in 2025 due to a change in direction by new ownership," said Wendy Blackshaw, Minnesota Sports and Events's president and chief executive. "Although disappointed, we are in discussions with WWE about future events in Minnesota. We are optimistic that Minnesota will host WWE events here in the future."

Minnesota has never hosted a WrestleMania event.
