CONTRA Unit members Minoru Suzuki & Ikuro Kwon won the MLW Tag Team Titles at MLW Summer of the Beasts, ending the reign of CozyMAX (Okumura & Satoshi Kojima).
The finish saw Kwon mist Okumura in the face to blind him. Suzuki followed up with the Gotch piledriver, pinning Okumura while Kwon made sure Kojima could not break up the pinfall.
After the bout, Krule and Janai Kai made their way to the ring and continued the decimation of Kojima. Krule posed with Kojima's MLW World Heavyweight Championship.

Kojima is set to defend his MLW World Title against Krule at MLW Fightland.
This marks the first reign as MLW Tag Team Champions for Suzuki & Kwon. CozyMAX held the titles for 111 days and made two successful title defenses.
