Andrade Says He's Done With Carmelo Hayes, Looks Forward To Facing LA Knight

Andrade is a man of few words.

Andrade previously confronted WWE United States Champion LA Knight on the September 6th episode of WWE SmackDown. Carmelo Hayes interrupted, and Andrade went on to face Hayes the following week.

After Andrade defeated Carmelo Hayes on the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE United States Champion LA Knight announced that he would defend the title against Andrade on the September 20th episode.

In a WWE SmackDown Exclusive, Andrade was asked about defeating Carmelo Hayes.

“Please don’t ask me about ‘Melo. ‘Melo and I, we done. This is done. I win," Andrade said.

Andrade was then asked about challenging LA Knight for the WWE United States Championship. He briefly thanked Knight for the opportunity and looked forward to facing him.

"I wanna say, LA Knight, thank you for the opportunity, and simple, see you next week," Andrade said.

Andrade's victory over Hayes gave him the 3-2 victory in their series, which had been tied at two wins each ahead of the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown.
