Roxanne Perez addressing her future led to one of the greatest stars of NXT's past closing out the January 14 episode of WWE NXT on the CW.
Roxanne Perez was given the final segment of the January 14 show to address her future after losing the NXT Women's Championship to Giulia at WWE NXT New Year's Evil. Perez started out seemingly bidding farewell to the brand and even congratulating the woman who beat her for the NXT Women's Title, before turning on the crowd and saying that nobody would love the brand the way that she did.
She referenced the NXT Four Horsewomen, which led to the return to NXT for one of those women, Bayley. Bayley helped put the NXT women's division on the map alongside Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks (AEW's Mercedes Mone). Bayley tried to give Roxanne some friendly advice, but Roxanne blew it off and instead said that Bayley was just like every other role model she used to look up to.
Bayley said Roxanne would stay stuck in her mess while she went on to win the WWE Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton. The CW feed cut off after this, but the Netflix International feed showed that the women brawled to close the show.

It is unknown whether Roxanne Perez will be staying on the NXT brand moving forward, but the transfer window in WWE is open.
