Miro Appears In CBS' East New York Trailer, Set To Star As 'Nikolai Dushkin'

Miro is a crossover star.

While he has not been seen in All Elite Wrestling since suffering an injury last fall, Miro has been keeping busy. Whether it's giving out T-Shirts at the Clippers game or filming TV shows, the former TNT Champion isn't content with being just a sitting duck.

CBS announced a new slate of content today, and with that came the first trailer for the new 'East New York' series. In the trailer, Miro, who is playing 'Nikolai Dushkin', can be seen for a few shots. In his only dialogue, Miro asked for a lawyer, potentially hinting at the fact he will play a criminal-type character.

In the past, Miro has appeared in the 'Sisters The Series' show as well as movies like Another Version of You and WWE Studio's Countdown alongside Kane and Dolph Ziggler.

Since being released by WWE in early 2020, Miro has made his mark on All Elite Wrestling. In his short tenure with the company, Miro has had top matches with guys like Darby Allin, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, and more. He also had a TNT title run that lasted throughout the summer of 2021.

A few months back, Fightful Select learned that Miro signed a long term extension with AEW. Click here to learn more.
