Mistico was represented by Cesar Duran while Salina de la Renta represented Rocky Romero.
This marks the first reign as MLW World Middleweight Champion for Mistico. Romero held the title for 139 days after winning it from AKIRA at MLW Slaughterhouse. He made two successful title defenses.
