"The A-Lister" says he has his sights set on the WWE Championship.
To open WWE's 'Backlash' event The Miz stepped into the ring with Seth Rollins in hopes of becoming a nine-time WWE Intercontinental Champion. The Miz's hopes were soon stomped away as "The Architect" delivered a "Curb Stomp" to The Miz and officially sent him off to SmackDown Live.
The Miz was not too beat up about his loss earlier in the night as he went onto the 'Backlash' post-show and stated that he has his sights set on becoming the WWE Champion once again. Miz brought up that the 'Money In The Bank' PPV is next month on June 17th and that this upcoming Tuesday on SmackDown Live he will he have a qualifying match and the winner of said match will be the first competitor to have secured their spot in the 2018 men's Money In The Bank Ladder match.
The 'Money In The Bank' PPV will be live from Chicago, IL inside of the 'Allstate Arena' and Fightful will update you on the match card for the show as they are revealed.
