The Miz says Grayson Waller is everything you could want in a main-event WWE Superstar.
Throughout his journey on NXT, Waller has been compared to The Miz, given their similar personas. The two stars are at different stages in their careers; Waller is still climbing to the top in NXT, while The Miz has established himself as a main-event player over the years.
Speaking on the September 28 episode of WWE's The Bump, The Miz shared his thoughts on these comparisons and emphasized Waller's individuality. He stated that Waller is everything you would wabt in a main-event WWE Superstar.
“I look at Grayson Waller as an originator. I don’t see the comparisons between myself and him. He’s his own character, he’s his own person. He’s confident, he’s agile, athletic, he’s everything you want in a main event WWE Superstar. I think he’s doing exactly what he needs to do to propel himself to even bigger superstardom," The Miz said.
Earlier in the interview, "The A-Lister" praised Waller and stated that he's doing what it takes to become a big-time superstar.
"Grayson, I think you are doing exactly what you need to do to make yourself one of the biggest superstars in WWE. You actually being there, Matt Camp should be applauding you, shaking your hand, thanking you to bring star power to a show like The Bump, in person, live. That’s exactly what you should be doing. You’re doing exactly what you should be doing at NXT. You’re bringing a great talk show. You’re putting on, performing great matches. That’s exactly what you need to do, and keep doing it, and keep working hard and elevating yourself each and every time. So that’s just my opinion on everything," The Miz said.
Dexter Lumis continues to stalk The Miz on WWE Raw; this past Monday, he choked out the former WWE Champion again. Meanwhile, Waller remains featured on NXT, and he will host a new edition of The Grayson Waller Effect on next week's episode. More information is available here.
