The Miz Praises 'Seamless' Snoop Dogg For How He Reacted To Shane McMahon's WrestleMania 39 Injury

The Miz reflects on WrestleMania 39.

At WrestleMania 39, The Miz competed on both nights of the show, first, he would lose to Pat McAfee on night one of the event, before facing off with Shane McMahon on night two. Unfortunately, Shane would go down with a serious leg injury, prompting an improvised People's Elbow from Snoop Dogg.

While speaking to Metro.co.uk's Alistair McGeorge in a new interview, The Miz looked back on the incident, noting that it is wrestler's jobs to make sure you do not notice such events.

"That definitely wasn’t supposed to happen, but it does happen,’ he admitted. ‘Those are moments that you don’t want to happen, but are also moments that you literally are like, 'Okay, this is what I’ve been prepared for. The number one thing that was talked about was Snoop Dogg giving me a People’s Elbow, rather than, 'Oh man, something happened at WrestleMania.”

The Miz would then go on to praise Snoop Dogg for his adapting in the moment.

"He was seamless. He was so good in that moment,"

Elsewhere in the same interview, The Miz expressed his frustration about not having a clear path to WrestleMania this year. You can read more about that here.
