The Miz says he's back.
In recent weeks, The Miz has been feuding with Tommaso Ciampa, as his former protege returned and defeated him on the June 19 episode of WWE Raw. The following week, The Miz attacked Ciampa prior to their match, which was then called off. The Miz faced Ciampa in a No Disqualification Match on the July 10 episode of WWE Raw, and Bronson Reed's interference helped The Miz clinch the win.
Speaking on Raw Talk, The Miz shared his thoughts following his win over Ciampa.
“I’m a winner. I’m a winner. A winner, you hear me? It’s everybody in the locker room, it’s everybody in this arena. I am a winner. I got the best version of Ciampa, I gave him the best version of me, and who came out on top? Me. Because I am a winner. I went through a table. I went through chairs. I got the announcers’ panel, I got barricade after barricade after barricade. Look at my back. Get a close-up. Bumps, bruises, bleeding. It doesn’t matter. I am the toughest man in WWE. Maybe Ciampa was right. He needed to light a spark under me, and that’s exactly what happened. So everybody in the WWE is on announcement. I am a winner, and I am back, and now I’m going golfing. Do you golf, Byron? No, no you don’t. Because you’re not cool. You don’t get to celebrate your wins like I do. Because I’m The Miz, and I am awesome," The Miz said.
The Miz previously stated that he was tired of the last of respect that he gets. Click here to see what he had to say.
