The Miz Says His Go-To Person For Fatherly Advice Is R-Truth

The Miz talks being a Dad mixed in with being a WWE superstar.

"The A-Lister" The Miz is still involved in a program with Shane McMahon on WWE TV that began at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February. On last week's edition of SmackDown Live, The Miz competed in a Gauntlet match involving Drew McIntyre and Elias in order to get a match with Shane McMahon but Miz was defeated by McIntyre before he could get to Shane.

Tuesdays on the USA Network following SmackDown Live has also become the home of the Miz & Mrs. show featuring The Miz and Maryse. Season two of the show has been renewed and will air at a later date and The Miz spoke with Yahoo! Lifestyle and discussed being a father, Miz & Mrs. and more topics. Miz shared that with the number of wrestlers in WWE who are fathers, he regularly goes to the current WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth for fatherly advice.

"Yes, there are a lot of dads backstage and a lot of dads giving good advice. R-Truth is the person I go to for all the best advice." Miz revealed. "I remember, I was childproofing my house, and he was just giving me amazing advice. He’s a wealth of knowledge because he has, I think, three or four kids. Oh, yeah. Health Slater told me, 'Dude, you’ll never love anything more than your daughters. Every time I come home, it’s like, a huge WrestleMania pop. I am the biggest star, and I never understood it until I had Monroe, and now I totally get what he was talking about. It’s an interesting dynamic… you think you’d see the guys talking about working out and other manly things, but usually we just sit around talking about our kids."
