While WWE Summerslam officially kicked off at 7pm EST., there was a two hour pre-show loaded with lots of great wrestling action.
In the opening match of the pre-show, it was The Miztourage (The Miz, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) w/Maryse defeating Jason Jordan & The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff).
It was the WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz scoring the match winning pin fall over Jason Jordan, handing Jordan his first loss on the Raw Brand.

Jeff is in control of Bo as we come back from commercial, getting a quick two count before he's yanked off of the top rope. The Miz comes in and drops Jeff with a knee for a quick two count before tagging Curtis back in. Jeff fights his way to his corner and tags Matt in who beats on Miz in the corner before hitting an elbow drop off of the top rope for a quick two count. Jordan tags in and takes out both Bo and Curtis for a near fall before Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Miztourage via pinfall
The second match of the pre-show saw former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville regain the gold less than a week after he lost it when he defeated Akira Tozawa.

In the final pre-show match, the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles would get new owners as The Uso’s defeated The New Day.
