MJF and Adam Cole came face-to-face on the December 21st episode of AEW Collision.
MJF opened by commenting on Cole's weak ankle, how he never won the AEW World Title, and how he might be worried about cavities because his dentist, referencing Cole's ex-girlfriend Britt Baker, won't see him anymore. MJF closed by calling Cole a crack baby.
Cole responded by saying he could take cheap shots and talk about MJF's hair or how he pulled strings to get his girlfriend Alicia Atout hired, but he wasn't going to do that. Instead, he said that MJF was upset that Cole turned on him first because he knows MJF was going to stab him in the back.
MJF confirmed that his plan was to turn on Cole at AEW Worlds End 2023, but Cole did beat him to the punch. He said Cole became a liability during his AEW World Title reign, and he needed to cut him out. MJF said he would end things at AEW Worlds End.
Cole struck first on Dynamite, knocking MJF down before officials broke them up. MJF would kick Cole in the dick, and look to hit him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) made the save.
