MJF is going to Hollywood.
Deadline reports that AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman, also known as MJF, has joined the cast of A24’s 'The Iron Claw', a movie about the Von Erich wrestling family, whose legacy dates back to the 1960's. This will be MJF's first role in a feature film.
As previously announced, the cast currently includes Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Holt McCallany, Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney and Lily James. A24 and Access Industries are backing the film, and a release date has not been announced yet. Sean Durkin is both writing and directing 'The Iron Claw.'
MJF previously stated that he booked a huge movie, and Warner Brothers Discovery is coming up with non-wrestling roles for him. More information is available here.
The AEW star has also said he sees himself doing what The Rock did. Check out his comments here.
