MJF has landed a role in "Happy Gilmore 2."
Deadline reports that MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) has joined the cast of "Happy Gilmore 2."
PWInsider reports that MJF will play the role of one of Gilmore's sons. Filming reportedly runs through November.
Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald are all set to return for the sequel.
MJF made his Hollywood debut in "The Iron Claw" and has since filmed for "The Floaters" and "Stranglehold."
MJF is repped by Activist Artists Management and CAA.
The former AEW World Champion has been off television since AEW All Out when he defeated Daniel Garcia, but was attacked by Garcia after the match. Garcia delivered a middle rope piledriver to MJF, putting him on the sidelines.
It is unknown when MJF will return to AEW TV.
"Happy Gilmore 2" will be available on Netflix when the film releases.
