Sabu will receive his plaque at GCW The Coldest Winter 3.
ECW legend Sabu was set to be inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame Class of 2024, but he didn't want to go upstairs, per GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale, and he no-showed the ceremony. At the time, Sabu said he changed his mind, and Lauderdale said there weren't any hard feelings.
GCW has announced that Sabu will receive his Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame Plaque at GCW The Coldest Winter on March 1st, and Joey Janela will present it to him.

Sabu is set to face Janela at Joey Janela's Spring Break 9. However, Janela underwent surgery on his ruptured bicep, and noted that there was only a two percent chance that he would be able to wrestle. Janela wrote that, in that case, the match might be rescheduled, as he suggested that he might create a new show for it.
