MJF discusses AEW's signing of Mercedes Mone.
At AEW Dynamite: Big Business earlier this year, Mercedes Mone would make her All Elite Wrestling debut and soon after at AEW Double Or Nothing, would capture the TBS Championship by defeating Willow Nightingale. At Forbidden Door, Mone would add the NJPW Strong Women's Championship to her shoulder by defeating Stephanine Vaquer.
While speaking in a recent interview with WrestleTalk, AEW American Champion MJF would comment on Mone's signing, praising her star power and the interesting parts of her character.
"I think she’s a massive get. I feel she started, was a big part in starting, the women’s revolution in WWE. I feel that she has brought a level of star power to our show. She’s a very interesting character."
Both Mercedes and MJF are currently scheduled to wrestle at AEW All In later this month, with both defending their championships against Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone respectively.
