MJF is ready to rip up his list and face Cody, but he has some conditions to name.
On the Dec. 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody offered MJF money, his watch, his truck, and anything else MJF wanted if he agreed to face him in the ring. On Wednesday's episode, MJF delivered his response. While MJF wouldn't outright commit to the match, he did agree to meet Cody on the Jan. 1 episode of AEW Dynamite in Jacksonville to name his stipulations.
During his promo on Wednesday, MJF, of course, took some shots at Cody with his machine gun mouth. He began by proving he could hit the Cross Rhodes, laying out a security guard with Cody's finisher. MJF previously botched the move against Hangman Page, which Cody commented on during his promo last Wednesday. MJF also worked in a jab at Roman Reigns, dropping a "sufferin succotash" line and noted that Cody wouldn't fire him because he wants to get his hands on him.

Also set for the Jan. 1 episode of AEW Dynamite will be the return of Riho. She will defend her AEW Women's Championship against an unnamed opponent.
