"This [title] is what you work for your whole life, so I’d say winning this in the Prudential Center. It’s what you literally work for your entire life. There’s been so many incredible moments, don’t get me wrong. I’ve had a Hall of Fame career, and I’m only 27. But yeah, that night," MJF said.

MJF went on to reflect on his reign as the champion. He recalled how he said he wanted to bring stability to the title and make it the grandest prize of them all. MJF expressed his belief that he has done that, and he stated that he is proud of the accomplishment.

“I think we’re at almost 277 days, this reign. I feel that the world title was beginning to become a little shaky. There was some weirdness going on, and I remember just telling everyone in that press conference, ‘This isn’t gonna be shaky. This is going to be the grandest prize of them all.’ That is exactly what I’ve done, and I am very proud of that. That means more to me than anything I’ve done," he said.

When asked to describe what being the face of AEW World Champion, MJF stated that it meant everything to him. He then made it clear that having the best AEW World Championship reign is one of his main goals.

“Everything. This is what you work your whole life for as an athlete, this is what you dream about as a kid. The word is everything. What really means also everything to me, from a future goal standpoint, is I wanna go down as people universally agreeing that this this is the best AEW World Title reign. That is my goal. That’s a really big goal of my mine, among the many that I have. I feel that I’m getting pretty damn fucking close to making that happen," MJF said.
