AEW is slowly removing MJF from its footprint.
On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, MJF addressed his frustrations with AEW and Tony Khan, notably how ex-WWE wrestlers are paid more despite him carrying the company on his back. At the end of his promo, he begged Khan to fire him before calling him a "fucking mark," which was bleeped out. The screen went black, going into commercial, and the segment was not mentioned again.
The segment was not covered by official AEW social media accounts, which post video of all segments and matches from AEW television. His promo has not been uploaded to AEW YouTube.
On AEW Shop, MJF's profile page has been removed from the roster. Searching for "MJF" only brings up AEW event DVDs.
He was also removed from the official AEW roster on AEW's website.
MJF was in the headlines through Double or Nothing weekend as he missed the fan fest on Saturday and booked a flight out of Las Vegas on Saturday night, but didn't get on the plane, opting to show up to AEW Double or Nothing. He claimed to Fightful that he showed up just before his match, which opened the pay-per-view, and left right after.
