MJF Reportedly No-Shows AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 Fan Fest

MJF was nowhere to be found during today's AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, MJF was scheduled to appear today for an autograph signing and photo opportunity but did not show up. He states that MJF's absence was not planned and that no one from the company was able to contact him.

TNA Turning Point (11/29/2024) Results: 2/3 Falls Match, Nic Nemeth, The Hardys, Joe Hendry, More

For those in attendance who already purchased one of the MJF experiences, AEW attempted to set things right by offering exchanges for another talent.

Neither AEW nor MJF has yet to publicly comment on the matter.

MJF has been outspoken in interviews and promos about his contract expiring on January 1, 2024, and how he'll jump ship to WWE if he doesn't get one of the biggest contracts in wrestling history from Tony Khan. As first reported by Fightful Select, these issues aren't just in the storyline, as MJF is actually frustrated with his current contractual situation. Despite this being a very real issue, Tony Khan doesn't seem to mind that real-life situations are playing out in television storylines. Click here to learn more.

MJF is set to compete at Double or Nothing on May 29 against Wardlow. Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 7 p.m. ET. You can view the updated card for the show by clicking here.
