MJF didn't get on the plane.
After missing the AEW Double or Nothing fan fest on Saturday and booking a flight out of Vegas, but not getting on the flight, MJF showed up to AEW Double or Nothing for his showdown with Wardlow. He was greeted with boos, "You fucked up" chants, "he showed up" chants, "MJF, Fuck you," chants and more. Before the bout, MJF mimicked an airplane and then flipped off the crowd.
Wardlow proved that MJF did fuck up and made him pay for showing up, cutting off MJF's usual tricks and putting him away with a powerbomb symphony that included ten powerbombs.
MJF left on a stretcher following the bout.
