A new championship is coming to MLW.
In November, Fightful reported, "An MLW Women's Featherweight championship is coming to the company, as they've ramped up their women's wrestling. We're told MLW has started talking to various belt makers about designs for the title."
On Saturday, MLW announced that the championship is being designed and the division will begin to ramp up.

League officials have been meeting with Cesar Duran as El Jefe looks to rev up the women’s featherweight division in the weeks and months ahead.
In fact, MLW.com has learned that the first women’s featherweight championship is being designed.
Who will make history and claim it? Sources indicate we’ll find out soon.
It is unknown when the championship will officially be introduced.
