The broadcast date for the latest War Chamber match has been announced.
During the April 4 episode of MLW Underground, the broadcast team confirmed that the War Chamber match with Alex Hammerstone and the Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner, Matthew Justice, and 1 Called Manders) taking on The Calling (Raven, AKIRA, Rickey Shane Page, and an unnamed member) will air on REELZ on April 18. During the announcement, it was not stated whether the broadcast would be an episode of MLW Underground or a special presentation.
Hammerstone, the reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion, has been feuding with The Calling for weeks, and he has enlisted the help of the Second Gear Crew to fight the violent stable in the War Chamber Match. In a preview of the bout, Page defeated Manders in a Hardcore Match on the April 4 episode of MLW Underground.
The match between Hammerstone's team and The Calling will take place at MLW War Chamber 2023, which will be held at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York, on April 6.
