No more Tony Schiavone in AEW.
Fans may have noticed that Tony Schiavone has appeared in All Elite Wrestling video packages uploaded to YouTube and shown at AEW events. Schiavone is currently under contract with Major League Wrestling, and according to MLW CEO Court Bauer, the promotion was unaware of Schiavone doing work for a rival promotion.
Bauer released the following statement to the Wrestling Observer:
"Unless AEW elects to reach out, Tony Schiavone cannot proceed with AEW or any other company doing anything. I was unaware of him doing the digital stuff until I read it in this week's Observer."
Schiavone previously addressed his appearances in AEW video packages, noting that he has no contract with the Tony Khan ran promotion.
I am not. I just like to help @CodyRhodes when I can. https://t.co/DFJwwxiyUa

As of now, AEW and MLW have no working relationship. Yesterday it was announced that MJF, one half of the MLW Tag Team Champions, had signed a multi-year extension with AEW. Fightful Select reported that MJF will continue to work for MLW but when his contract with them expires, he will be with AEW full-time.
