Moose says he is a fan of IMPACT Wrestling having a working relationship with All Elite Wrestling, even if the locker room wasn't told about anything until the last minute.
Ever since Kenny Omega won the AEW World Championship at AEW Winter is Coming, AEW has been involved in a working relationship with IMPACT Wrestling that has seen Gallows and Anderson travel between both promotions, Kenny Omega wrestle on IMPACT pay-per-view, and AEW president Tony Khan become a regular fixture on IMPACT television.
Speaking on The Angle Podcast, Moose stated that many in the locker room were not informed and that if he was to go over to Dynamite for a special appearance, he would likely be told shortly before making the trip.
“They don't tell us anything until the last minute," said Moose."All I can do is hope that is where this storyline is going, but honestly, I have no idea. If it was to happen, they probably wouldn't tell me until the night before, 'Hey, you're going to AEW.'”
Moose, who was involved in the match that Kenny Omega wrestled in at IMPACT Hard To Kill, says that despite not being clued in on everything, he loves the relationship because after a while fans get tired of seeing the same matches in the same promotions over and over again.
“I love it. The fans win. It was a big surprise when I found out about it, and I found out about it when everyone else did, when I saw Don doing commentary. 'What the hell is going on here?' They kayfabe us on everything. Both companies are winning from it. After a while, you get tired of Jon Moxley wrestle Kenny Omega, PAC, or Cody Rhodes. Same thing with IMPACT. You get tired of Eddie Edwards wrestling Sami [Callihan]. It's a big win for both companies to have fresh guys.”
Currently, Moose is not concerned about inter-promotional warfare. His main focus is capturing the IMPACT World Championship from Rich Swann.
Fightful will have live coverage of IMPACT on AXS TV beginning Tuesday at 8 p.m. eastern.
