The Motor City Machine Guns have answered the call.
The Rascalz issued an open challenge for IMPACT Slammiversary and the challenge was answered by the duo of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin. The Motor City Machine Guns had not wrestled as a duo in IMPACT since TNA Lockdown 2012 when they teamed to challenge Samoa Joe & Magnus for the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
The Motor City Machine Guns, who looked as good as ever, were victorious in the bout, picking up the victory with the Dirt Bomb.

Shelley & Sabin are former TNA Tag Team Champions, holding the belts from July 2010 to January 2011.
Sabin was announced for TNA: There's No Place Like Home during WrestleMania week, but the show was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was Sabin's first match since suffering a torn ACL in January 2019.
