A roller coaster of a night for the returning Mustafa Ali.
What began as The Miz interviewing new WWE United States Champion, Theory on Miz TV, resulted in the return of a fan-favorite Superstar who had recently requested his released and the subsequent heel turn of a new Monday Night Raw Superstar.

The Miz and Theory were showering each other with compliments on Miz TV when suddenly Mustafa Ali returned after being away from television since October. On social media, Mustafa Ali made it clear that he wanted his release from WWE. This is something that was made very clear during the Miz TV segment as both Miz and Theory reference Mustafa Ali’s unhappiness with his position in WWE.

This led to a match between Miz and Ali and Ali was able to pick up the victory by countering the figure four leg lock. The roller coaster night was not over as while he was celebrating his victory, Mustafa Ali was blindsided by Tommaso Ciampa who was simply referred to as “Ciampa” by the commentary team.

Ciampa was called up to Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 38 and in his first and only appearance on the main show since being called up, he just verified the existence of Ezekiel, Elias’ younger brother.
