Mustafa Ali says he's no longer working with WWE.
Mustafa Ali took to social media to say that he is no longer working with WWE. "I look forward to the future," he wrote.
Ali was scheduled to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at NXT No Mercy on September 30.

Ali signed with WWE in 2016 after competing in the Cruiserweight Classic.
In January 2022, Ali requested his release from WWE. It was not granted at the time. Ali remained a consistent presence on television throughout the years.
Ali returned to NXT in May, entering the NXT North American Title picture.
