It took only two matches for WWE history to be made at the 30th incarnation of WWE Summerslam as Neville defeated Akira Tozawa to once again become the WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Neville lost the belt to Tozawa less than a week ago on WWE Raw, but is now champion again just a few short days later.
Ryan Cook is providing live coverage of the event and here are the end of the match highlights:
Neville starts focusing on injured shoulder of Tozawa before Tozawa drops him with a right hand. Neville catches him on the top rope, but Tozawa knocks him off before going for the high angle senton. Neville gets his knees up before Neville hits the Red Arrow to the back of Tozawa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Neville via pinfall
Neville is also the first wrestler to become a two time WWE Cruiserweight Champion since the belt was brought back after the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.
