The Gunns are the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
In a shock upset, Austin & Colten Gunn were able to defeat The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) in a AEW World Tag Team Title match on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite.
The chaos started with referee Stephon Smith was knocked out of the ring by an accidental forearm. This prompted The Gunns to grab the AEW World Tag Team Title belts that were at ringside in an attempt to use them on Bowens and Caster. 'Daddy Ass' Billy Gunn came to the ring to stop The Gunns from cheating, but Colten Gunn then took him down with a shot to the back of the head.
The Acclaimed almost still walked away with the win, as Caster hit a Mic Drop on Austin Gunn while the referee was still down. Once the referee made it back in the ring, The Gunns secured their victory over The Acclaimed after Colten Gunn hit Anthony Bowens with one of the title belts while the referee was still trying to recover.
Austin Gunn took advantage of the situation and rolled up Bowens, scoring the long three count.

This is the first time that Austin or Colten Gunn have held a championship within the confines of AEW. The Gunns' Tag Title victory stops The Acclaimed's reign at the 140 day mark.
