The New Day say fans should be thanking them.
Rey Mysterio previously kicked The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) out of the locker room, and they responded by viciously attacking him on the February 10th episode of WWE Raw.
Kingston and Woods came to the ring on the February 17th episode of WWE Raw and explained themselves. Kingston said that he had been with WWE longer than Mysterio, and he had held more title wins. He took a shot at Mysterio by saying that he had never left, unlike Rey. Kingston said that he should be a locker room leader, not Mysterio.
Kingston then said that it could have been a lot worse for Mysterio, and everyone should be thankful that they showed him mercy. Woods stated that fans should be thankful that they didn't give Mysterio the Old Yeller treatment. He said that they did Mysterio a favor by giving him some vacation days he could spend with his wife.

The LWO (Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde) interrupted, and Lee made it clear that they wanted revenge. They charged the ring and sent The New Day running after a brief brawl.
