WWE NXT has continued its evolution from the colorful era of NXT 2.0 to a brand new white and gold era.
During the one-year anniversary of NXT 2.0, a new logo was unveiled for the brand. This new logo moved away from the colorful style of NXT 2.0, and showed a new white logo with a black and gold border, hearkening back to the NXT of old. Now, to kick off October 2022, NXT has taken another step in its aesthetic evolution.
The October 4, 2022 episode of NXT featured brand new graphics in line with the new logo, and the colorful graphics of NXT 2.0 no longer are seen. Additionally, the three-man broadcast team has returned as Wade Barrett was joined by Byron Saxton of Monday Night Raw and Sudu Shah. Shah Is the voice of NXT Level Up on Friday nights. While Byron Saxton noted that he would be on the show tonight, Sudu revealed on social media that he is filling in for Vic Joseph. Vic Joseph and McKenzie Mitchell were recently married in Italy.
Excited to fill in for @VicJosephWWE and join these two legends on @WWENXT tonight. Tune in 8 ET / 7 CT on @USA_Network! https://t.co/uP8bDCE07F

A new theme song was not heard as the show jumped straight into programming from the signature open.
