Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) became the new IWGP Tag Team Champions at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19, winning a four-way ladder match to open the show.
Fujita retrieved the titles for his team.
The finish saw TJP and Robbie Eagles get shoved off the ladder as they battled alongside Fujita and Francesco Akira. Fujita locked Akira in a dragon sleeper on top of the ladder and then reach up to grab the titles.
Intergalactic Jet Setters (Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA) entered the match as champions. Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) and Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) were the other competitors in the match.

This marks the first reign as IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions for Fujita & Eagles. Fujita is now the youngest ever IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion. Intergalactic Jet Setters held the titles for 82 days and made one successful title defense.
